The donors- The study would be incomplete without taking a look at some donors. Organizations and private parties share their unique vision, and donating funds, goods are obviously vital to feeding the starving or whatever cause they promote.

The Rotary Foundation, the brainchild of RI President Arch C. Klumph began in 1917. Fueled by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation. It pays the overhead expenses with the interest earned on contributions.

As an endowment fund for Rotary "to do good in the world," its initial contribution was $26.50 in 1918, $73 million contributed in 2000-01 but, that’s not The Rotary Foundation’s focus. Its the event-filled years that is a tale of action and impact. The story of Rotarians learning the value of service to humanity, and the citizens of the earth benefiting from that service. This almost rhymes with the evangelizing missionaries getting amped by the joy of God’s love, they must be related.

Their Humanitarian Programs promote the quality of life by providing health care, clean water, food, education, and other essential needs Globally. Arch Klumph said at the 1917 convention when he proposed the creation of an endowment fund, an organization that touches the hearts and souls of millions upon millions, here to learn to do good in the world — They have learned well.
