Dear Coleman,
Fresh produce for families.
This is your last chance to double the impact of your gift, and get nutritious fruits and vegetables to families in need, thanks to our matching grant from Coupons for Change.
“With our national initiative to source a total of 1 billion pounds of produce within the next 3 years, we need significantly larger quantities of nutritious fresh food,” says James Borys, Director of Fresh Produce at Feeding America. “Network demand is consistently growing, and our food bank members need more fresh produce.”
Unfortunately, we don’t always have the necessary funding to say “yes” to accept the fresh food donation offers from farmers. And saying “no” to items that are in high demand, like produce, is frustrating.

Very truly yours,
