A Larger View

Today we look at one of the organizations that show us “How we feed the world’s starving” In our book, we see that Feed My Starving Children are extremely vital in the pursuit of saving people around the world from starvation.

This is a complicated issue and FMSC. ORG is in the forefront of the effort providing seemingly infinite meals for missionary partners, food banks, and other charities who wish to provide food on a large scale, if you can help in any way it is needed.

The ever-changing metrics of the food production and provision chain is becoming more challenging by the hour, and the starving have been laid in our laps as the federal funds disappear, it really is all on our shoulders to help, or stand by with turned backs and pocketed hands. Below is links and projects currently on their website, please peruse as their effort is miraculous, and their work produces awesome results against poverty.

Who We Are
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

You need more than a GPS to locate the remote places where our food is giving life. The nutrition of MannaPack™ meals reach the deserts of Afghanistan, the trash heaps of Nicaragua, and the scrap huts of Haiti…

It is not through big government that we are reaching the poorest of the poor. It is through a chain of partners that starts with YOU and in-country workers like Diddi…

The truly amazing, most overwhelming feature for me is why they do what they do all they do, it is the same reason we should. Feed My Starving Children produced 153 million meals last year, with a giant army of partner charities helping distribution internationally. We saw that Missionaries evangelizing in the outermost reaches of civilization bring food to the needy, wherever it may be. Look at their website and consider what is the common denominator for the organizations in the process. Their love for the suffering masses brings relief to the starving. Evangelicals rely on the love their faith thirst to give, but secularist can love too. Government sponsored organizations like the United States or the coalition of internationally sponsored UNICEF has an important role as well, but FMSC and its meals are vital to all, and so is the missionary. I have learned quite a bit please enjoy their web site. Their history is an excellent source http://fmsc.org/aboutus/history-of-fmsc?
