Risen Savior Missions

With the disasters piling up in the Philippines, and knowing the havoc it is causing for the regions missionaries I post this blog about Risen Savior Missions. Although there is quite a few missionary efforts ongoing in the Islands, the normal expected workload is more than challenging, and with several natural disasters this year, I pray for them all.

A truly amazing fact is that RSM is a private foundation, and I spoke to it's anchors, Gerald and Barbara Krosnowski. When you read the following consider the effort this couple have applied, feeding the world's starving.

Risen Savior Missions has shipped over 25 million donated children’s meals in the last 84 months for emergency humanitarian disaster relief in addition to over 500 sustained holistic feeding sites in the Philippines on an annual basis. *Summary derived from their website.

“Your prayers and donations enable us to continue this great work and save these homeless and parentless children living on the edge of darkness! Help them be the hope for thousands of these street children and end their suffering. They so desperately need us, and we heartily thank you on their behalf. May our work together be blessed!

With Love, Admiration and Respect,

Your brother and sister in Christ, Jerry and Barbara

Risen Savior Missions Gerald and Barbara Krosnowski Chairman” *Excerpt of an email from Jerry and Barbara

I spoke with Jerry and Barbara through email and they were warm, caring people. I began to get my footing on this subject after those conversations, they made me feel welcome. One would have to admit, their newsletter was powerful message. Please go to their site and read about all of their efforts. Jerry and Barbara have done this type of work since the 1960’s and the love their lives have provided so many others left me star struck. They were the first Charity I had the chance to meet and discuss their work. Their hospitality gave me the confidence to push forward with my labor for feeding the world’s starving, so insignificant when compared to these fine people, Thank you Jerry and Barbara!
